Authement Property Group LLC was founded in 2017.  We acquired our first rental home in Houma, LA thru inheritance.  We followed this with an acquisition of Pine St.  This home was flooded in the great flood of 2016.  It got approximately 2 feet of flood waters.  The home had been partly repaired when we purchased it but, backyard was over grown with weeds and poison ivy.  After getting the backyard cleaned up, we realized the beauty we had just acquired.  We did 95% of all of the repairs ourselves.  After Pine St, we purchased Stephen Drive while this home was rental ready we spent a month getting it up to our standards.   This home also flooded in 2016 with some where between 4 feet to 4 1/2 feet of flood water.

In 2018,we purchased Oak St.  While this home was rental ready, we got the home up to our standards.  Oak St flooded in 2016, but only a few inches in the main hose and approximately 2 feet in the sun room.  New windows, paint, completely remodeled laundry room and roof repairs completed the updates.  Later that year, we acquired Jackson St.  Built in 1950’s Jackson St needed a lot of TLC.  Like the rest, Jackson also flooded in 2016 but the total amount of water was only a few inches.  We remodeled the kitchen, main bathroom and laundry rooms.  New windows, front door and repainted the bricks, this transformed this home from the ugliest home on the street to the prettiest!

In 2019 we purchased Maple St.  Maple needed a lot of work. Maple St did not get thru 2016 without getting water in it.  It got approximately 18 inches.  The yard was completely out of control over grown shrubs, azaleas and very difficult to kill poison ivy.  New windows, paint, sun room roof replacement and updates completed the transformation.

We have nice homes in the right part of town.  Near the best schools in Denham Springs and minutes away from everything.
